A fine Louis XVI gold leaf painted long seated armchair with a arched rectangular queen style padded backs and bowed seats covered in brown silk woven fabric. The down-curved arm-supports are carved with acanthus leaf design. The channelled seat-rails are carved with scrolling vines along steamed beech wood. This handmade piece is a perfect representation of the hard work and precision that goes into making things beautiful pieces.
The wood was prepared and covered black paint with inlaid gold leaf art, as well as the finest fabric.
